The Studio
The studio is loaded with lots of fun toys, games and learning tools that make learning music and piano exciting. I want to create an environment that inspires them to make music, and I constantly update and improve on it over time.
The main room is where my students take the stage and play on the Yamaha GC-1 Grand Piano. Next to the piano is where I usually teach from, using an 88-key Kawai keyboard and a Macbook Pro. I like to use lots of cool virtual instruments and sound effects to make the lesson a complete musical experience. I also have toys and puppets that I use as practice aids that make the lesson enriching and fun. Don't forget to ask about Squawky!
Next door is the Music Lab. There's a Mac and keyboard where students can play with fun, musical games, listen to CDs of all the classical and jazz greats, watch music-related DVDs, and practice. I want to dedicate this space for my students to explore the wonderful world of music. The whole library of books, CDs and DVDs are all available for them to rent out.
